With the 2020 elections being important, we wanted to encourage our student-athletes to register to vote. We created a website that they could visit to answer all of their questions about registering to vote, no matter what state their home was located.
We designed social graphics to inform our fans and student population as to why our athletes vote, and also created stickers for Augmented Reality that our fans could add to videos and pictures after they voted. The Rivals United campaign was created in partnership with University of Washington Athletics to get our student-athletes registered.
These Voter Registration motion graphics were shared from the sports account when each team reached 100% of their student-athletes registered to vote. As mentioned earlier, the Rivals United logo was designed in collaboration with the UW creative staff.
